Adult Cooking Class Schedule – Winter 2018

AMG is also available for private group cooking classes.

What To Expect: Great cooking isn’t about recipes—it’s about techniques. In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

  • Classes are 2 hours
  • Hands-on classes are limited to 16 students
  • You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
  • You will enjoy a generous taste of every dish


Cancellation: Tuition is non-refundable. However, if you cancel within 46-hours of the class date, you may use your reservation towards one of our future classes within one year of the original class. Or send a friend in your place and receive the recipes booklet to bring home. AMG Catering reserves the right to cancel class. You will be notified via email or phone. Photos from class may be used for promotional purposes.

WINTER 2018 CLASS SCHEDULE

#1 – No Experience Required Class – “Winter Dinner Party Menu”
Wednesday January 10, 2018 – $90 per person
7-9 pm

  • Roasted squash and apple soup
  • Winter greens salad with blue cheese, pears and cider vinaigrette
  • Maple and herb glazed pork loin with root vegetables
  • Dark chocolate brioche bread pudding




 

#2- Winter Fish Class
Wednesday January 17, 2018 – $90 per person
7-9pm

  • We will work with halibut, scallops and arctic char




 

#3- Pre-Chinese New Years Class
Wednesday January 24, 2018 – $98 per person
7-9pm

  • Learn how to cook some delicious Chinese dishes
  • Prawn and chive dumplings
  • Chinese chicken lettuce wraps
  • Szechuan sliced pork with vegetables
  • Roasted miso chicken wings




#4- Brunch for Dinner Class
Wednesday January 31, 2018 – $78 per couple

  • Assorted deviled eggs
  • Perfectly roasted potatoes with caramelized onions
  • Spinach and feta “STRADA”
  • Spicy beet Bloody Mary’s
  • Pumpkin ginger muffins




#5- VALENTINES COUPLES CLASS
Thursday February 8, 2018 – $196 per couple

  • Cauliflower bisque with brown butter croutons
  • Lamb chops with Merlot, cherry-min “jus”
  • Parsnip puree
  • Chocolate tahini truffles




#6- Valentine’s Class
Wednesday February 14, 2018  – $196 per couple

  • Ahi Tuna “poke”
  • Endive salad wtih toasted walnuts, breadcrumbs and winter citrus vinaigrette
  • Classic Beef Wellington
  • Tiramisu



 


#7- Winter Sauce Class
Wednesday, February 28, 2018 – $90 per person
7-9 pm

  • Your dish is only as good as the sauce that accompanies it…
  • We will focus on some classic French sauces with appropriate proteins




#8- Winter Fish Class
Wednesday March 7, 2018 – $90 per person

  • We will focus on Halibut, Arctic Char and Sea Bass




#9- ST. PATTY’S DAY CLASS
Wednesday March 14, 2018 – $90 per person
7-9 pm

  • Grab your GUINESS and join us in creating..
  • Smoked salmon tartlettes
  • Reuben “Nachos”
  • Brussels with stout cream sauce
  • Scones with pear and Irish cheddar and honey



 


#10- Late Winter, Early Spring 30-Minute Entrees
Wednesday March 21, 2018 – $90 per person

  • Chicken picatta with prosciutto wrapped asparagus
  • Sauteed shrimp and noodle salad with Asian spices
  • Pan-seared skirt steak with chimichurri and perfectly roasted potatoes
