Adult Cooking Class Schedule – Fall 2018

You will eat what you make, so bring your appetite!

AMG is also available for private group cooking classes.

What To Expect: Great cooking isn’t about recipes—it’s about techniques. In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

  • Classes are 2 hours
  • Hands-on classes are limited to 16 students
  • You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
  • You will enjoy a generous taste of every dish
Cancellation: Tuition is non-refundable. However, if you cancel within 46-hours of the class date, you may use your reservation towards one of our future classes within one year of the original class. Or send a friend in your place and receive the recipes booklet to bring home. AMG Catering reserves the right to cancel class. You will be notified via email or phone. Photos from class may be used for promotional purposes.

#1 – GLUTEN FREE “30 MINUTE MEALS” FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY – $90/pp

Wednesday, September 26, 2018, 7-9 pm

      • Mediterranean Baked sweet potato ‘meal”
      • Brussel sprout, parmesan and sausage GF pasta sauté
      • Cabbage and ground turkey “skillet”





#2 – COOKING WITH APPLE CIDER – $90/pp

Wednesday October 17, 2018, 7-9 pm

      • Apple Cider and balsamic roasted chicken
      • Pork, cranberry and cider “pot pies”
      • Pear-apple cider cinnamon tart





#3 – AUTUMN SAUCE CLASS – $98/pp

Wednesday, October 24, 2018, 7-9 pm

In this class, we will focus on creating sauces and paring them with appropriate protein

      • Bacon-cider sauce
      • White wine and pumpkin sauce
      • Cranberry and mustard sauce
      • Sage and brown butter sauce





 

#4 – HOLIDAY APPETIZERS CLASS 1  – $90/pp

      • Pumpkin-carrot soup “shooters” with coconut cream
      • Muffelletta deviled eggs
      • Tuna “poke”
      • “Sparkling” cranberries

#6 –  HOLIDAY APPETIZERS CLASS 2 – $90

      • Butternut-chevre stuffed mushrooms
      • Mexican inspired shrimp cocktail
      • “Spanikiopita” chicken meatballs with Tzaiki dipping sauce
      • Lump crab “Mornay” with crostini
