Adult Cooking Class Schedule – Fall 2019

You will eat what you make, so bring your appetite!

AMG is also available for private group cooking classes.

What To Expect: Great cooking isn’t about recipes—it’s about techniques. In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

  • Classes are 2 hours
  • Hands-on classes are limited to 16 students
  • You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
  • You will enjoy a generous taste of every dish
Cancellation: Tuition is non-refundable. However, if you cancel within 46-hours of the class date, you may use your reservation towards one of our future classes within one year of the original class. Or send a friend in your place and receive the recipes booklet to bring home. AMG Catering reserves the right to cancel class. You will be notified via email or phone. Photos from class may be used for promotional purposes.

#1 – 30 MINUTE Autumn meals the whole family will enjoy – $90/pp

      • Chicken “stroganoff”
      • Kale and butternut squash salad with maple-dijon vinaigrette
      • Mustard crusted mini meatloafs with roasted apples





#2 – OKTOBERFEST COOKING CLASS- Bring your favorite beer!! – $90/pp

Wednesday, October 2, 2019, 7-9 pm

      • Bratwurst “bites” with sauerkraut-mustard dipping sauce
      • Perogies
      • Apple strudel
      • Braised red cabbage and apples





#3 – AUTUMN FISH CLASS – $98/pp

Wednesday, October 16, 2019, 7-9 pm

In this class, we will focus on indoor cooking techniques and sauces for the following fish: Arctic Char, Sea Scallops and Tuna






 

#4 – HOLIDAY APPETIZERS CLASS and HOLIDAY COCKTAILS – $90/pp

*BRING your favorite holiday cocktail*  We will learn how to make “JINGLE JUICE”

      • Candied walnut brussel sprout “bite”
      • Chipolte lime bacon wrapped scallops
      • Jalapeno popper “stuffed” mushrooms





#5 – SAUCE CLASS- Learn how to make pan sauces like a professional chef… – $90/pp

Wednesday, November 6, 2019 7-9 pm

In this class, we will focus on creating sauces and pairing them with the appropriate proteins.

          • Bacon-Cider sauce
          • White wine and pumpkin sauce
          • Cranberry and mustard sauce





#6 –  ALL ABOUT THANKSGIVING (sides and leftover ideas) – $90

Wednesday, November 13, 2019, 7-9 pm

          • Savory pumpkin and sage soup
          • Turkey “sliders” with stuffing biscuits
          • Three cheese spaghetti squash au gratin
