Adult Cooking Classes

You will eat what you make, so bring your appetite!

AMG is also available for private group cooking classes.

What To Expect: Great cooking isn’t about recipes—it’s about techniques. In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

  • Classes are 2 hours
  • Hands-on classes are limited to 16 students
  • You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
  • You will enjoy a generous taste of every dish

Cancellation: Tuition is non-refundable. However, if you cancel at least 1 week in advance of the class date, you may use your reservation towards one of our future classes within one year of the original class. Or send a friend in your place and receive the recipes booklet to bring home. AMG Catering reserves the right to cancel class. In the event that the attendance is 4 students or less , we reserve the right to cancel the class and offer you credit or to choose another class. You will be notified via email or phone. Photos from class may be used for promotional purposes.

FALL 2026 CLASS SCHEDULE

 

#1 – DOING IT DOLLY – $125

Aside from being a performing icon, did you know Dolly Parton is the unofficial Patron Saint of Books? Her Imagination Library has given over 30 million books to children since its inception in 1995. Currently, they mail 3 million books a month to children everywhere.

Sparkle with us as we celebrate all things Dolly and leave with a copy of the recent biography, Ain’t Nobody’s Fool-The Life and Times of Dolly Parton by Martha Ackerman.

The menu for the evening includes Dolly’s favorites:

  • Dolly’s favorite “dirt road” martini
  • Cheesy brussel sprouts
  • Dolly’s favorite family meatloaf
  • Stir fried apples




 
#2 – OCTOBERFEST CLASS – $125

Wednesday, October 7

7-9pm

Grab your favorite German beers and join is for a night of delicious German treats

  • Oktoberfest potato “stacks”
  • Bratwurst appetizer “bites”
  • Hot cheese dip with onions and gruyere



 

#3 – ELEVATE YOUR TAILGATE – $125
Wednesday, October 14

7-9pm

We will start this class with a yummy cocktail …Beer margarita 

  • Hot reuben dip
  • Tacos in a bag
  • Chocolate peanut butter bon bons 



 

#4 – SUSHI AND DUMPLING CLASS – $150
Wednesday, October 21

7-9 pm

We will start the evening with a sake mojito
Let’s “roll” the night away:

  • Pork and shrimp potstickers
  • All varieties of sushi rolls ( tuna, salmon, shrimp tempura and more )



 
#5 – FRIENDSGIVING – $125
Wednesday November 18

7-9 pm

Family is made up of who you relate to, not just who you are related to, and for this we are grateful. Grab your friends and join us as we talk about friendship in food and in books. You’ll leave with your choice of a book that examines what makes a friendship to be thankful for as well as recipes to warm your hearts. 

Lets kick off this class with apple cider sangria

  • Butternut squash hummus
  • Wild rice pilaf with roasted vegetables
  • “Friendsgiving “ chicken and stuffing casserole



 
#6 – HOLIDAY APPS WITH COCKTAIL – $125
Tuesday December 2

7-9 pm

Let’s kick off this class with the “mistletoe kiss” cocktail

  • Rosemary potato chip crusted chicken “lollipop”
  • Mediterranean stuffed Shishito peppers
  • Sourdough shrimp scampi skewers
